The objective of this study is to describe the reality of job stress of nurses at learning by doing class at Hai Phong University of
Medicine and Pharmacy in 2018. A crosssectional description was conducted on 266 nurses at learning by doing class at Hai Phong University of Medicine and Pharmacy in 2018 from 1/2018 – 9/2018. The Nursing Stress Scale questionaire (NSS) was used to collect stress level. The general rate of job stress was 52.0%, mainly mild stress 35.0% and moderate stress 11.7%. The factors related to stress status in our study subjects include: Age: Age group ≤ 30 years old (OR = 1.7). Not married (OR =
2.5); Having night service (OR = 1.8); There is no stable job (OR = 3.4); Working in low light (OR = 3.3); Pressure to work and study (OR = 2.7). Therefore, it necessary to propose measures in order to improve the stress of nurse and expand research subjects
