Abstract

The study was to describe the status of health-related quality of life among the elderly in three districts of Hung Yen province in 2019. A cross-sectional study was conducted in 3 districts of Hung Yen province. Surveying health-related quality of life in 1515 people aged 60 and over measured with the EQ-5D- 5L toolkit. The value of health-related quality of life is from 0 to 1. The time for conducting the study was from Mar 2019 to Dec 2019. Results: Survey of 1515 elderly people in the 3 districts: 58.2% of interviewers suffered from one health-related issue or more; 8.8% of people suffered from all 5 health related issues by degree. The average value of healthrelated quality of life in the elderly was 0.873 (SD = 0.162), 70-79 age group was 0.854 (SD
= 0.17). Conclusion: The health-related quality
of life among the elderly in the three districts
was at average level, decreasing with age.
