Abstract

A cross-sectional study was conducted to describe the health status of lychee farmers in Luc Ngan district in Bac Giang province in 2016. The results showed that lychee farmers with rhinitis, conjunctvitis, heahache, and dermatitis accounted for 37%, 21.7%, 20.5%, and 18.3%, respectively. Symptoms of pesticide poisoning among farmers include: fatigue (65.1%), headache (44.8 %), and dizziness (44.7%). Most farmers had class I and II health. Lychee farmers should use personal protective equipment and improve woking condition to reduce the risks of these diseases.
