Abstract

The objective of this cross-sectional study is to assess management of medical waste and wastewater which in areas at risk of flooding or sea level rise. These are small and mediumsized health facilities, the percentage of which having waste water discharge licences or carried out labor environmental monitoring is 66.7%. In many hospitals, medical waste containers and storage areas do not compliance with environmental protection regulations. Besides, hospitals are still difcult to fnd
legal facilities to disposal hazardous waste and recycled waste. For wastewater treatment activities, 13.3% of hospitals which have degraded on-site wastewater treatment system and 7/15 hospitals (46.7%) have wastewater not complied with QCVN 28: 2010/BTNMT.
