The study was conducted with the objectives which were to describe the physical activity (PA) level of hypertensive outpatients in the General Hospital of Thuong Tin District, Ha Noi in 2023 and some correlated factors. The crosssectional study was carried out by interviewing face-to-face 352 hypertensive outpatients. The results showed that 77.3% of patients met the recommended PA level by WHO, (the mean time of PA of patients was 415.2 ± 297.5 min per week). According to results of the logistic regression analysis, older patients were less likely to meet recommended PA level (OR = 0.95 (95%CI: 0.92 – 0.99), p < 0.05). The proportion of hypertensive patients meeting recommended PA level in the hospital was higher than those in some other studies having the same study subject. Health professionals are recommended to continue encouraging hypertensive patients to be physically active, and guide elderly patients how to do PA appropriately according to their ages.
