The aim of this study is to describe somehearing characteristics of tinnitus patients at Nguyen Tri Phuong Hospital in 2022 - 2023. The study describes 110 patients with tinnitus who visited the ENT clinic of Nguyen Tri Phuong Hospital, Ho Chi Minh City from October 2022 to June 2023. The study subjects were asked about their medical history and underwent clinical examination of the ears, and were measured with a pure tone audiogram. The results showed that the average age of the study subjects was 54.36 ± 15.96. Women suffered from tinnitus more than men. The rate of patients with hearing loss was 82.7%, of which mixed hearing loss had the highest rate (55.3%), followed by sensorineural hearing loss (39.39%), and the lowest was conductive hearing loss (5.3%); moderate-severe hearing loss had the highest rate (21.21%) and profound deafness had the lowest rate (9.09%). The average pure-tone hearing threshold of the tinnitus ear was higher than that of the nontinnitus ear.
