Abstract

A cross - sectional study was conducted among 310 children aged 6-24 months at Department of Pediatrics, Bac Thang Long
Hospital aimed to describe the nutritional status and some related factors. The study showed that the rates of undernutrition were 17.1%. The rates of underweight, stunting, and wasting were 3.1%, 11.9%, and 3.9%, respectively. In addition, the study also found that the rate of overweight up to 13.5%, several factors related to the malnutrition status of the child such as low birth weight, early - term birth, and surgical delivery
