The result showed that the average preparation score of 550 medical staff was 20.6 ± 3.3 out of 29 points. The criteria of knowledge, practice and attitude of medical staff participate was at a high level. The preparation scores did not differ significantly among all the subjects, including physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and other staff. Medical staff in the departments receiving COVID-19 patients had higher preparation scores than the other group. Participating medical staff with no previous
anti - epidemic experience, or working time of ≤ 5 years, had significantly lower preparation scores than medical staff who had participated in anti - epidemic or have more than 5 year working experiences. Maintaining a good level of readiness of all hospital staff is extremely important to against future outbreaks.
