Abstract

The goal of the study is to describe emotional stress among doctors and nurses at Thai Binh Medical University hospital in 2020. Descriptive research through a cross-sectional survey was conducted on 146 doctors and 74 nurses in May 2020. Research results show that 35.5% of study subjects are under emotional stress, 66.7% have stress at mild and moderate
levels, and there are more women who have mild and moderate emotional stress than men who do (70.2% versus 57.1%). Therefore, it is necessary to propose measures to relieve emotional stress among doctors and nurses, while paying more attention to stress among female health workers.
