In the world and Vietnam, there are regulations on the management of donating and receiving oocytes to minimize the consequences caused by creating inbreeding generations without a real-life relationship. Applying a cross-sectional descriptive study design combining quantitative and qualitative methods to describe the current status of management of sperm and oocyte donation and receipt at 23 hospitals with fertility support departments/centers in 2018 Research results show that 100% of hospitals have sufficient facilities and qualified human resources in information technology. At hospitals, there is no unified management process throughout the system, yes. : Evaluation results show that 12/23 hospitals have developed, promulgated and applied the management process at the unit, other hospitals generally apply according to the guidance in Decree 10/2015-ND-CP. specifically on the management of sperm and oocyte donation. The majority are hospitals in the South 83.3%, and private hospitals are high 75%. There is no software to detect customers who donate or receive one or more times: 17/23 hospitals have management software, most of which is general, statistical management is not capable of sharing information; 4/23 hospitals ensure that customers can only donate and receive 1 time at the hospital using management software with fingerprint identification, face recognition photography, but not screening customers who have donated at the hospital other institutes. 82.6% of health workers believe that the current management method does not meet the management needs and needs an overall management system for sperm and oocyte donation in the whole country. Thus, the management methods and processes at 23 hospitals have not met the requirements in the “Decree 10/2015/ND-CP”.
